Perforated Insulation Fixing Pins are used to fasten insulation material to walls and ceilings.
Perforated Insulation Fixing Pins have a 2" square steel base which is perforated with
nail sized holes. The holes/perforations allow a screw or nail to be easily installed to a
wall/ceiling.
These perforations are specifically designed for use with Pin Adhesive. The Pin Adhesive is
applied to the back of the pin base in nickel sized glob.
When the pin is pressed against a wall/ceiling, the adhesive will come through the penetrations
creating a solid bond. Once the pin is fastened or the adhesive cured, the insulation can be
pierced onto the pin which is attached to the perforated base. A self locking washer is then
placed onto the pin to securely hold the insulation in place. The excess pin length can then
be trimmed with channellock end cutters.
